Achievements
To meet the 1.5-degree target agreed in Paris, the European economy must achieve 55 percent lower CO2 emissions by 2030 and zero emissions by 2050. This can only be done by improving energy efficiency, reducing demand for CO2-intensive products and services, or by using decarbonization technologies in all industries.
Our Plasmalyzers® produce CO2-free or CO2-negative hydrogen and synthetic raw materials from industrial wastewater, slurry, plastics or gases. We thus enable the economy to close energy and material cycles.
Compared to the traditional electrolysis process, the production of hydrogen by way of plasmalysis requires much less energy and is therefore significantly cheaper. Whereas the costs in conventional processes are 6 to 8 euros per kg of hydrogen, they are only 1.5 to 3 euros in plasmalysis.
This is how we decarbonize industry as well as the heating, transport and building sectors and are driving a future that does without fossil fuels and CO2 emissions.
Green hydrogen from residual materials can even reduce the climate gas CO2 in the atmosphere when used with biogas.
